Semesterticket

The Semesterticket of the University of Paderborn, the Catholic University of Applied Sciences of North Rhine–Westphalia and the Theological Faculty Paderborn comprises a ticket for the Hochstift area and another state-wide ticket for North Rhine-Westphalia.
The Semesterticket is handed out to the students either in form of a paper ticket (University of Paderborn and Catholic University of Applied Sciences of North Rhine–Westphalia) or in form of a smart card (Theological Faculty Paderborn). The ticket for the regional transport in the Hochstift area is integrated in these tickets and marked through the additional specification “HST”.
Students who own a Semesterticket with this specification travel for free on the Nachtbus and NachtExpress in the Hochstift area. Students whose Semesterticket does not have the specification “HST” on it have to purchase additional tickets for the Nachtbus and NachtExpress.
